GOLDEN SEADRAGON PENDANT WITH DIAMOND EYES IN YELLOW GOLD
A pendant featuring diamonds to accent the eyes. Crafted from 18K yellow gold and suspended from an 18K gold chain with an adjuster ring. Wear it shorter to showcase the chain drip and signature clasp. Part of an ongoing series created to raise awareness and funds for the vulnerable Weedy Seadragon species found only in Australian waters.
Material: 18K Yellow Gold
Gems: Two 0.90mm natural round brilliant diamonds, D color, VS1, 0.004 CT each
Chain: 1.30mm cable chain, 18K, 50cm with adjuster at 45cm
Pendant: 3cm height (nose to tail), 4cm body width
Modeled off a real-life Weedy, the pendant is a hyper-real representation of this ethereal and elusive creature. The chain is engineered to go through the body of the pendant, so the three-dimensional Seadragon slides with suspended ease.
This piece is available now in limited numbers. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to SEADRAGON CONSERVATION.
SEADRAGON CONSERVATION is a joint initiative between the University of Technology Sydney’s Fish Ecology Lab, marine ecologists Prof. David Booth and Giglia Beretta, and Designer JORDAN ASKILL. It brings together science, research, art , and storytelling to protect the Weedy Seadragon, which was recently reclassified from Least Concern to Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.
